The Bank of Wellbeing have partnered with the DermoSight platform in order to provide our clients with fast and efficient dermatology advice and guidance. If you have a mole, lesion or skin condition that you are concerned about then this service is for you!
You will be asked to complete a consent form with some personal data follwed by a short series of questions about your skin. This will assess your risk factors of skin cancer and provide us with the necessary background information for analysis.
Capturing images of your lesions is totally painless and harmless, and takes a few minutes to complete. There is no harm and very few restrictions. If you have any doubts, please contact us.
Once the report has been analysed, we aim to speak to you to dicuss the results within four working days and discuss recommendations from the report. If any remedial treatment/action is required, this will be explained to you at this point.
Patient journey:
- Book an appointment for the mole & lesion or skin scanning service.
- A face-to-face consultation with our practitioner where we will fill in a skin history questionnaire, image your mole/lesions or skin condition using our bespoke Dermatoscope camera.
The camera takes two images, a clinical image (from a distance) and a Dermatoscopic image (extreme close-up) of your skin concerns.
- Dermatologists then access the consultation, your information and images and then analyse the report with the following advice & guidance.
- We will contact you with the report advice and guidance and the following steps. Including possible prescriptions.
This is a private paid for service, therefore any prescriptions will be supplied on a private prescription basis.
If there are any concerns about the mole/lesion, our team of healthcare professionals will call you to discuss recommendations from the report and if any remedial treatment/action is required.
